Please explain these fields in detail.

These fields would be useful. I guess what the OP means is:

estimation = an estimation of how long the item will take to complete, could be in minutes, hours, days etc duration = how long the item actually took to complete, same format as estimation

This can be done via a plugin much like the percent field.

I may work on one once the first test release is 2.0 is out.
