What does this enhancement do? Retains Markdown input and output, but optionally provides end users an integrated WYSIWYG view.
Instead of having a separate block displaying real-time display of Markdown output (a la Stack Exchange), this optional editor would have a single textbox with standard Markdown format bar.
The actual text entry area would show the output, not the raw code.
A 'Show Source' button could be clicked to reveal the raw Markdown code.
Traq 4.0 now uses the SimpleMDE.
