There are many free icon sets on the web, for example silk:

Also I noticed that there's a little lack of consistency in the admincp, for example for hooks you can edit and delete them and you have a select to choose what you want, you an also edit them by clicking their name. For milestones you have a select which only allows you to delete the milestone, if you want to edit it, you have to click it's name. For versions, if you want to delete it, there's a button, and if you want to edit it, again, click it's name. I think it should be normalized in some way, maybe icons, think about it ;)

haha, Akismet worked? I'm surprised, it never worked in any of the tests... that says a lot about my testing doesn't it..
Anyway, yes, the images are a good idea... I'll see what I can do.
